NOTE: Max post diameter is 400mm based on the gate hinged from the inside center of the post. This gate opener is not suitable for enclosed style gates, any gate that catches the wind (eg. colourbond, slat gates) or outward swing. NOTE: Max gate weight restriction is based on a well balanced 2.5 meter gate with roller bearing hinges. If the gate is longer, the weight restrictions are less. Roller bearing hinges are only necessary for very heavy gates. This gate opener is not suitable for enclosed style gates, any gate that catches the wind (eg. colourbond, slat gates) or outward swing. If you have such style, you will need the heavy duty model depending on your gate. Or contact us and we can make a recommendation for your set up.
